Welcome, and thank you for visiting!

I’m Angela Adams, founder of AKA Interiors. My passion for interior design began early, growing up with parents who were real estate brokers and home builders. While studying interior design in college, I interned with a custom home builder and quickly became their lead designer.

At my parents' encouragement, I also became a licensed real estate agent. Over the next 18 years, I co-owned a brokerage with my mother, held licenses in three states, and specialized in investment real estate—working with local investors, banks, and hedge funds on renovations and new construction. I also served as a Tennessee State Sworn Property Valuation Expert Witness in appraisal disputes.

In 2021, my husband’s cancer diagnosis and unfortunate passing in 2024 was a turning point. I chose to focus full time on my true passion—interior design. I’m grateful for every referral and opportunity to help clients transform their spaces.
