Design what matters

I'm Angela Adams, founder of AKA Interiors. I grew up around blueprints and open houses — my parents were real estate brokers and home builders — and by the time I was studying interior design in college, I was already the lead designer for a custom home builder.

Over the next eighteen years I co-owned a brokerage with my mother, held real estate licenses in three states, and specialized in investment real estate, working with investors, banks, and hedge funds on renovations and new construction. I even served as a Tennessee State sworn property valuation expert witness.

In 2021, my husband's cancer diagnosis changed everything. After his passing in 2024, I chose to devote myself fully to the work I've always loved most: interior design. Every referral and every project is a gift, and I bring that gratitude — and two decades of hard-won expertise — to every space I touch.
